Hobby Horse is a small business, and member of the Guild of Rocking Horse Makers. Creating the finest hand crafted rocking horses. From the simple hobby horse , to large ornate Victorian style rocking horses. Each one of our hand carved horses are created using the finiest hardwood, saddles and bridles are made from quality leather with buckles and stirrups made of either brass or chrome plate depending on your preference.

The dapple grey is our most popular finishes, but horses are also available in polished or varnished natural wood. There is a choice of real horse hair or nylon for the mane in a variaty of colours (subject to availability).

Horses will be made to suit your own individual needs. The fully carved horse comes in different sizes and can be mounted on either Bow Rockers or a Fixed Stand. Adaptions can be made on some of the horses to suit children with special needs.
